Come aboard a faithful replica of the famous 17th century sailing ship and watch the stories of the explorers come to life.

12 Jun - 10:00 - 09 Aug - 17:00

This historic sailing ship is a replica of the 17th century Halve Maen (Half Moon) that explored the coasts of North America in 1609 in search of a passage to the Far East. The story of the newly discovered land spread quickly and in 1620 the Pilgrim Fathers left for North America. The ship with which they took off from England was not much larger than the Halve Maen. Come on board and see how a ship from that time is classified and how the captain, crew and passengers worked, slept, cooked and ate during their ocean voyage.

For the historical perspective, read About Delfshaven400.
